Cold Box Core Shooter Working Principle
Shooting Sand:
The sand-binder mixture is shot into the core box under high pressure, filling the mold cavity uniformly.
Core Curing:
A gas catalyst (e.g., amine gas) is injected into the core box. The gas reacts with the binder, hardening the sand mixture within seconds.
Ejection:
Once cured, the core is ejected from the mold and is ready for use in the casting process.
